DSL Internet Access
A Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) runs over the twisted pair of copper lines traditionally used for basic telephone service. Our suppliers place and configure a router on your premises. The router establishes the meeting point between the DSL line and your computer network (LAN). When you transmit data from your desktop PC to the Internet, it is the router that directs the data to pass over the DSL phone line to the nearby Central Office of your local telephone company. At the Central Office our suppliers connect the DSL line to an access device called a Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM). Here your data is transmitted to our network and upstream to the Internet.
Available from: AT&T, Bandwave, BellSouth, Broadwing - Level 3, New Edge Networks, Qwest and Verizon.
IP Virtual Private Networks
IP VPNs utilize secure pathways over the public Internet. They provide one to one, one to many or many to many secure data connectivity.
MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) IP Data Networking
IP VPN’s use Private Network Transport, Quality of Service (QOS) and Class of Service (COS) to deliver the ultimate, in multiple use data services. MPLS fully supports the implementation of VoIP allowing prioritization of Voice packets ahead of data packets ensuring the highest Quality of Service for time delay sensitive traffic.
- MPLS gives you a network-based, fully meshed IP Virtual Private Network (VPN) with any-to-any connectivity using just a single connection at each site.
- Utilizes Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology to provide security, performance, and reliability.
- Sites can have included Managed CPE (Customer Premises Equipment), Customer provided and Managed CPE, or a combination of both within a single MPLS VPN.
- By adding Internet access to a single MPLS location, or using the Internet gateway service provided by some Hake Industries, LLC, suppliers, customers can enable their entire MPLS network with Internet access.
- COS options prioritizes traffic to support Voice over IP, video, and other time-sensitive applications to meet demanding networking needs.
- Multiple traffic classes differentiate between real-time, critical, standard business, and general data applications.
- Multiple COS profiles to select from to match bandwidth allocation to network requirements.
